ERL Conference FAQ’s

REGISTRATION

  • All in-person registrations are full-conference registrations with the exception of Workshop tickets. (See Workshops section below for additional workshop FAQ’s.)
  • Students may contact us for a discounted rate to attend the conference.

Payment Options:

  • Payment by Credit Card: Tickets may be purchased online via Eventbrite using a credit card. Confirmation of payment and the last 4 digits of the credit card used will be included on the confirmation email.
  • Payment by Check: For attendees selecting the offline payment/ pay-by-check option at checkout, please note that you are agreeing to hold a seat for the conference. All pay-by-check payments must be made within 30 days of purchase unless written confirmation of an exception has been made between your organization and the ER&L staff.
    • If you are unable to attend and you elected to send “Payment by Check,” you must still abide by the ER&L Cancellation policy and notify the organization’s by the same dates as actual costs are incurred by the organizers for your seat.
  • Purchase Order: If you have been granted an approved use of a Purchase order with the ER&L staff, your organization must remit payment within 14 days of the start date of the conference.
    • If you are unable to attend and you have an approved purchase order with ER&L, you must still abide by the ER&L Refund/ Cancellation policy and notify the organization’s by the same dates as actual costs are incurred by the organizers for your seat.
  • Onsite registration: Credit card payment is required at the time of purchase and the on-site prevailing rate will be charged at that time.

Refund/ Cancellation Policy

  • All refund requests must be made in writing to hello@electroniclibrarian.org
  • Before 12/1/19 – Full refund, less a $50 processing fee
  • 12/1/19 – 1/31/20 – 50% refund
  • After 2/1/19 – Refunds will not be allowed after this date. All refund requesters will be provided the online access as an alternative with no additional refund.

Ticket Transfers

Ticket transfers or name changes for all ticket types (including exhibitors) will incur a fee. See below for fee schedule:

  • Before 1/31/20 = $10 change fee
  • After 1/31/20 = $25 change fee

WORKSHOPS
  • All workshops require an additional ticket to attend.
  • Each workshop must have a minimum of 10 registrants by 1/15/20 to confirm it will take place during ERL20.
  • Workshop attendees must supply their own laptop should the instructor require it.

EXHIBITS
  • All Exhibit Tables are 6’ tables.
  • Exhibitor backdrops are allowed but cannot be wider than 6ft or taller than 10ft.
  • Any materials left behind that are not labeled for shipping will be disposed.
  • All exhibitor ticket registrations are considered full-conference registrants and will receive all of the benefits that come with the ticket as noted in the Registration section above.
  • All onsite registrations will be processed at the posted onsite rate and must be paid via credit card at the time of purchase.
  • Representative badges not picked up will not receive a refund.

Exhibit Table Refund Policy

  • All refund requests must be made in writing to hello@electroniclibrarian.org
  • By 10/31/19 – full refund less $50 processing fee.
  • 11/1/19 – 12/31/19 – 50% refund
  • After 1/1/20 – Refunds will not be allowed after this date.

Ticket Transfers

  • Through 1/31/20 = $10 change fee
  • After 1/31/20 through onsite = $25 change fee

ON-SITE
  • All onsite registrations will be processed at the posted onsite rate and must be paid via credit card at the time of purchase.
  • You do not need to bring a paper ticket to Austin.
  • Attendees may pick up their badges at the Registration Desk. Badges not picked up will not receive a refund.
  • Presenters are welcome to use the Speaker Ready Room
  • Presenters may collect a presenter gift from ER&L at Registration.
  • While ER&L does not have a specified dress code, most attendees dress in business casual or casual attire.
  • Firearms are not allowed on the AT&T Conference Center property.
  • Gender Neutral restrooms will be available and designated with an appropriate sign.
  • A Nursing Room will be available at the AT&T Conference Center. Please see the Registration Desk onsite for further details.
  • Breakfast and breaks available at the AT&T Conference Center will be plentiful and have a variety of options including vegetarian. Anything additional will need to be prepared by attendee and brought onsite. A cafe is available in the hotel for additional options for purchase.
