2020 marks a momentous occasion for ER&L, our 15th annual conference!
For 15 years Electronic Resources and Libraries Conference (ER&L) has seen consistent year-over-year attendance increases, both in person and online— topping out in 2019 at 1000 in-person and 600+ online attendees. That’s more than 850% growth in 15 years!
More significantly than the numbers, eresources library professionals and vendors like you have collaborated to advance improved services and tools, cemented good connections as well as established new relationships. We are humbled that ER&L is a platform that has supported the profession and industry for 15 years.
I’m writing to let you know that ER&L will be returning to Austin March 8-11, 2020. Exhibit sign up will be announced in late-June. We do hope you will join us in celebrating our anniversary in 2020.
If you’re available for an in-person update, I will be at ALA this week. You’ll see Bonnie and me around the conference and I will be in the exhibit hall sharing some materials about the 2020 conference.
I would also be remiss if I did not share the efforts of the University of Dubai in hosting an ER&L Middle East Conference this fall. If your business is already well established in the Middle East or you are seeking a soft and familiar entry point to the e-resources manager and decisions makers, please check out the Dubai-based event details. The ER&L Middle East planning is well underway for a Fall 2019 conference and exhibition.
If you’d like to set aside a meeting time to fit your schedule while you’re in DC, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Thank you for taking this journey with us and for your continued support.
