Saurabh Prajapati, Institute of Rural Management Anand

Saurabh Prajapati is the Deputy Librarian at Institute of Rural Management Anand, India. In this role, he oversees the management, operations and coordinates all aspects of electronic resources purchased by the Ravi J Matthai  library at IRMA. He obtained his Masters in Library and Information Science from Gujarat University. In addition to managing RJML, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in the area of “Electronic Resource Management System” under the Guidance of Dr. N. D. Oza from Department of Library and Information Science, Sardar Patel University.

Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) Founded in 1979, by Dr. Verghese Kurien, known as the ‘Father of the White Revolution in India’, with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, the erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), IRMA has grown to become a premier institution of professional learning offering Management programmes with a focus on understanding real management problems and socio-economic realities of under-served communities through intensive fieldwork. I’m Erica Barnett and I am the Interim Acquisitions Librarian. Prior to Interim Acquisitions Librarian, I was an Acquisitions Technician for 4 years and worked in Circulation for 7 years before that. I absolutely love being in Acquisitions and look forward to attending the 2021 conference to continue to grow my knowledge and skillset while having the opportunity to network with others.

Hunter Library, Western Carolina University located in Cullowhee, NC (52 miles west of Asheville). We’re located in the rural mountains, near the Great Smoky and Blue Ridge mountains. Serving more than 12,000 students, Hunter Library provides access to information, offers research and instruction services; and preserves the intellectual, environmental, and cultural heritage of the university and region.

My name is Dr. Sharon Whitfield and I am the Electronic Resources and User Access Librarian at Rider University, which is a private university located in Lawrenceville, NJ. I am new to Electronic Resource Management, but I have been a librarian for over 16 years. I manage over 1.1 million dollars in electronic resources. I attended ERL last year for my first time.  I learned so much and was able to take much of the information back to my institution. I look forward to attending this year and continuing to attend ERL in the upcoming future.
