Saurabh Prajapati, Institute of Rural Management Anand
Saurabh Prajapati is the Deputy Librarian at Institute of Rural Management Anand, India. In this role, he oversees the management, operations and coordinates all aspects of electronic resources purchased by the Ravi J Matthai library at IRMA. He obtained his Masters in Library and Information Science from Gujarat University. In addition to managing RJML, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in the area of “Electronic Resource Management System” under the Guidance of Dr. N. D. Oza from Department of Library and Information Science, Sardar Patel University.
Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) Founded in 1979, by Dr. Verghese Kurien, known as the ‘Father of the White Revolution in India’, with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, the erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), IRMA has grown to become a premier institution of professional learning offering Management programmes with a focus on understanding real management problems and socio-economic realities of under-served communities through intensive fieldwork. I’m Erica Barnett and I am the Interim Acquisitions Librarian. Prior to Interim Acquisitions Librarian, I was an Acquisitions Technician for 4 years and worked in Circulation for 7 years before that. I absolutely love being in Acquisitions and look forward to attending the 2021 conference to continue to grow my knowledge and skillset while having the opportunity to network with others.
