Workshop Idea & Instructor Suggestions Welcome!
The Electronic Resources and Libraries Workshop committee is seeking community input on the next set of workshop offerings. Please take a few minutes to think about both the topics you need and which instructors have been standouts for you, especially in the last 6 months.
What is an ER&L Workshop?
A workshop is a multi-hour, multi-part intensive course designed to take the attendee deep into subject matter with a knowledgeable instructor. Workshops are constructed with instruction and exercises. Workshop instructors receive compensation.
How will workshops differ from previous years?
Our longstanding goals for workshops continue, but you may notice a modification to the submission process this year. We’re starting this year’s course development with a call for topics and instructors before we jump into the Call for Workshops. We feel strongly that the solicitation of topics must cast a wide net and we are hoping to do so here with this simple, open and anonymous form.
The committee is currently evaluating tools to make the once in-person courses into flexible and engaging courses to reflect the way many of us are now working.
