De Gruyter’s University Press Library
Tuesday, March 10th | 3:30pm | Add to your Sched
This session will detail the complex ecosystem that university presses and libraries navigate in a daily effort to disseminate and sustainably support the creation of high-quality scholarly content. This complex ecosystem led to the creation of a 5-year pilot where complete front lists from select university presses were made available for purchase with unlimited usage, no DRM and perpetual rights to a controlled number of libraries. The results of this pilot and recommended way forward will be shared, with a group discussion on future next steps.
