Important Information for Virtual Conferences & Virtual Workshops

Registration

Tickets

Registration ticket (Super Early, Early Bird, and Regular) includes:

  • Access to all sessions
  • Networking inside and outside of the conference platform
  • Sponsored sessions and events
  • Virtual exhibit hall
  • Access to the video archive through March 2023

Available Discounts and Promotions for ER&L

  • Students may contact us for volunteer opportunities in exchange for waived registration.
  • Individuals experiencing hardship may contact us for volunteer opportunities, a discounted rate, or grants. Please complete a hardship application.
  • Organizations with 3+ Attending – If you are registering 3 or more individuals from the same organization, please select the “Group Ticket” ticket type. A discount is automatically applied to each ticket purchased in that transaction.
    • Tickets must be registered together in the same transaction to qualify for the discount. 
    • Each ticket holder will receive a confirmation email to their email address entered at the time of registration.
  • Registrants who complete their registration and submit payment prior to January 12, 2022 will receive a special gift!

Payment Options

A credit card payment is the fastest way to purchase tickets to ER&L. Other options or “Offline Options” such as Pay-by-check and Pay-by-Invoice are available for those who cannot pay via credit card.

CREDIT CARD

Tickets may be purchased online via Eventbrite using a credit card. Confirmation of payment and the last 4 digits of the credit card used will be included in the confirmation email. ER&L cannot view and does not retain your full credit card number

CHECK

  1. Register on Eventbrite and select “Pay by Check”.
  2. Mail your check to our address.

For attendees selecting the pay-by-check option, please note that you are agreeing to hold a seat for the conference. All payments must be made within 30 days of purchase unless written confirmation of an exception has been made between your organization and the ER&L staff.

If you are unable to attend and you elected to send “Payment by Check” you must still abide by the ER&L Cancellation Policy and notify the organization by the same dates as actual costs are incurred by the organizers for your seat.

INVOICE OR WIRE TRANSFER

  1. Register on Eventbrite and select “Pay by Invoice”.
  2. Email us with the purchase order number or request for wire transfer information.
  3. We will email you back the invoice with the purchase order/ wire transfer information included.

PURCHASE ORDER

If you have been granted an approved use of a Purchase order with the ER&L staff, your organization must remit payment within 14 days of the start date of the conference.

If you are unable to attend and you have an approved purchase order with ER&L, you must still abide by the ER&L Cancellation Policy and notify the organization by the same dates as actual costs are incurred by the organizers for your seat.

Cancellation Policy

  • All refund requests must be made in writing to hello@electroniclibrarian.org.
  • Before December 1, 2021 = Full refund, less a $50 processing fee.
  • December 1, 2021 – January 31, 2022 = 50% refund.
  • After February 1, 2022 = Refunds will not be allowed after this date.
  • Ticket transfers or name changes can be made directly in Eventbrite by ticket holders. Any changes requested for process by our office will incur a fee. See below for the fee schedule:
    • Before January 31, 2022 = $10 change fee
    • After January 31, 2022 = $25 change fee

Exhibits

  • Each company must register for a virtual exhibit booth separately.
  • 2 complimentary tickets are included with each exhibitor booth.
  • All exhibitor ticket registrations are considered full-conference registrants and will receive all of the benefits that come with the ticket as noted in the Registration section above.

Cancellation Policy

  2. By November 30, 2021 = Full refund, less a $50 processing fee.
  3. December 1, 2021 = January 31, 2022 – 50% refund
  4. February 1, 2022 = no refunds will be allowed after this date

Virtual Workshops

The 2021 Fall Virtual Workshop entitled “Optimizing E-resource Management With Process Improvement, Project Management, And Problem Solving Techniques” is now available for purchase for $175.

Available Discounts

If you are registering 3 or more individuals from the same organization, please select the “Group” ticket type for that workshop. A 25% discount will be automatically applied and reflected in the final ticket price of $131.

  • Three or more tickets must be registered together in the same transaction to qualify for the discount.
  • Each ticket holder will receive a confirmation email to their email address entered at the time of registration.
  • Payment via credit card or via offline payment option (wire transfer or mailed check) must be made in one payment.

Cancellation

In the unlikely event that a course is canceled, a full refund will be made to the original form of payment.

2021 Conference Archive

If you attended ERL21, you can access the archive using the same credentials you used during the conference. 

If you did not attend the 2021 ER&L Virtual Event, Archive Access tickets are now available for purchase

Cost: $199

If you are registering 3 or more individuals from the same organization, please select the “Group Discount” ticket type. A $50 credit is automatically applied to each ticket purchased in that transaction. The final price of each ticket will be $149. 

  • Tickets must be registered together in the same transaction to qualify for the discount. 
  • A minimum of 3 tickets must be purchased at that time to qualify for the discount. 
  • Each ticket holder will receive a confirmation email to their email address entered at the time of registration.
  • Payment via credit card or via offline payment option (wire transfer or mailed check) must be made in one payment.
